The construction of a new Athletic Complex in the Jugovićevo settlement is a multi-annual capital project, for which the City of Novi Sad provided technical documentation for the construction of the entire complex. The complex includes an athletic stadium with a total gross area of 17,880 m² and capacity of 4,000 seats, with open sports fields encompassing a total area of 3,720 m², an auxiliary field for throwing disciplines with an area of 10,200 m², a hall with a total area of 25,750 m² and a capacity of about 2,150 spectators, with supporting infrastructure, a transformer station, a solar power plant with a power of 555 kW DC or 500 kW AC and a fence around the complex in a length of 1,200 m.

The total estimated value of the funds needed for the construction of the entire Athletic Complex amounts to 4,550,520,000 dinars including VAT.

The Programme of construction land development for the year 2023 envisages the continuation of activities on the development of technical documentation of traffic areas with accompanying infrastructure for the needs of equipping the athletics centre at Jugovićevo, as well as the continuation of activities on the development of technical documentation for the construction of the Athletic Hall and Athletic Stadium in Novi Sad.
