On 1^st August 2013, on the premises of the Agency for Development of Temerin Municipality, a meeting was held between the representatives of Temerin local self-government and the Local Economic Development Office of the City of Novi Sad as well as the representatives of the Agency for Balanced Regional Development of AP Vojvodina.

The meeting was organized as a part of the activities of the project Sector strategies and effective tools for development management in the Municipality of Temerin and the City of Novi Sad. The implementation of the project has been supported by the Provincial Secretariat for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government of AP Vojvodina.

The development of sector strategies and local action plans in the areas of economy, agriculture and energy efficiency in the Municipality of Temerin is the project’s expected result. In cooperation with the Local Economic Development Office of the City of Novi Sad, a model of recording and reporting on the activities of institutions, organizations and individuals will be established in order to achieve the strategic development documents in the Municipality of Temerin. 

With an aim of systematic, ongoing and continuous assessment of the progress of development activities and in relation to the planned investments and outcomes, a uniform software solution will be established for development monitoring of the Municipality of Temerin and the City of Novi Sad.

The officials present at the meeting stressed the importance of the project and the level of cooperation achieved so far between the Agency for the Development of Temerin Municipality, the Local Economic Development Office of the City of Novi Sad and the Agency for Balanced Regional Development of AP Vojvodina; likewise, they summarized the achieved project results of the past period and determined the assignments and dynamics of the tasks for the coming period.
