Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević officially opened a new branch office of the Société Générale Bank Serbia in Novi Sad. The new “Master Branch Office”, the second of the six branch offices taken over from the KBC Bank, is situated in the Hajduk Veljkova Street, as part of the Master Center at the Novi Sad Fair.

-The city administration has always welcomed the expansion of big multinational companies on its territory and we are encouraged by the fact that the Société Générale Bank sees Novi Sad as a place of its further business development. In the very challenging years behind and ahead of us, the banking sector has been a major factor in overcoming the financial and economic crisis that has struck our country as well. I am pleased by the fact that these business premises have not closed after the previous bank had left, but are even more modern and functional. What is also important is that the opening of this branch office will provide jobs for a certain number of employees from the former KBC Bank and that its clients are today receiving the services from the Société Générale Bank – said Mayor Miloš Vučević, adding that he hopes that citizens and business people in Novi Sad will find a good partner in the bank.

Representatives of the bank also spoke at the official opening ceremony, pointing out that for Société Générale Serbia this year will definitely be marked by the overtaking of the clients of the KBC Bank, as well as that the importance of obtaining this branch office is evidenced in the fact that Société Générale Serbia moved its regional corporate center to “Master”, which implies that the clients will get faster and better service since the location is more convenient and away from the city center.
