SERBIAN AND GERMAN COMPANY SIGN A COOPERATION AGREEMENT IN THE CITY HALL

Co-owner of “Energotehnika Južna Bačka” LLC from Novi Sad, Dragoljub Zbiljić, and the owner of German company “R+S Solutions”, Markus Röhner, signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of the Mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, in the Novi Sad City Hall today. The agreement obliges the companies to establish a mutually-beneficial cooperation with the aim of joint presence in Germany, Serbia and third markets.

- It is my pleasure that the representatives of two private companies proposed the City Hall for their cooperation agreement signing procedure. The City is evidently recognized as an crucial partner that encourages the development of good business environment. It is of great significance that a private company from Novi Sad cooperates with a reliable and established partner from Germany, one of the leading European economic powers. Not only will this business move open a new market for the company from our country, but their staff will be trained to expand their professional knowledge and foreign language skills. As a consequence, business operations of “Energotehnika Južna Bačka” LLC will be improved, as well as overall investment climate in Novi Sad, – said the Mayor, reminding that several weeks ago an agreement was also signed between the City and an Austrian company, that negotiations are in process with a few other foreign companies and that we are gradually recovering from the multi-year stale investment period.

The subject of the signed agreement is strategic cooperation of two companies in the following fields: projects regarding low-voltage in Germany, cooperation on voltage level projects in Germany and neighboring countries, training of Serbian wiremen for work in Germany, training of students in secondary education institutions through practical work and scholarships for later work in Germany, joint cooperation on projects in Serbia and neighboring countries by the procurement of equipment in Germany, management of complex projects and provision of low-interest loans and bank guarantees, cooperation on air-conditioning and heating projects, as well as mutual cooperation with shipyards in Serbia and the region.

“Energotehnika Južna Bačka” LLC used to operate within “Elektrovojvodina” for 45 years, from 2005 it has been working independently on the open national and foreign market, while in mid-2010 it was privatized and today it is one of the biggest companies in Serbia that implements power engineering and gasification projects. “R+S Solutions” was founded 25 years ago in Germany and is one of the largest companies in the country, with annual revenue of about 200 million EUR. The company’s field of activity covers low-voltage electrical installation works, technical infrastructure in buildings and energy management.
