- The new loading bay will simplify the entry of trucks in the area of the Port making it more economical, while the Balkans’ leading laboratory for grain sampling, inspecting 12 different places of a particular freight in just two minutes, will definitely speed up the analysis of the freight and enable higher efficiency. I am particularly pleased with this year's exceptional results of the Port of Novi Sad, which have never been recorded in its history. Likewise, I hope we will have more opportunities to improve the Port’s capacity since it has a huge impact on City’s potentials and its exploitation of the favorable geo-strategic position, as Novi Sad is located on the Corridor 7, at the crossroads of land and waterways – Mayor Vučević said.

The Port’s director, prof. Aleksandar Milovančev, PhD, said that the Company made a record transshipment of goods in November this year, which is, according to his words, a proof that the employees and management are united in an effort to significantly improve the operations of the Port. He also said that due to the opening of the new loading bay, and the introduction of the new cutting-edge SGS probe for automatic sampling, together with new scales, the freight analysis will be accelerated which will in turn contribute to the more efficient operations of the Company.
