Mr. Goran Višnjić, General Manager of the Public Enterprise for City Construction and Development, Mr. Stojan Čolakov, Manager of "Energoprojekt niskogradnja", and Mrs. Zorica Ninić-Stupar, Assistant Manager for Technical Affairs of the Public Enterprise for City Construction and Development, also attended the press conference, organized to mark the completion of the public procurement procedure for the construction of the new bridge, followed by a contract signature between the Public Enterprise for City Construction and Development and the most compliant tenderer, "Energoproject niskogradnja" JSC from Belgrade and "West gradnja" LLC from Šabac, who submitted a joint offer in the amount of 656,838,785.11 RSD with 230 calendar days as the deadline for completion of works.

On the occasion, Mr. Stojković expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the efforts of the Public Enterprise for City Construction and Development paid off and the contract with "Borovica transport" was terminated, while new public procurement procedure was carried out, resulting in a new bridge construction offer, about 350 million cheaper than the previous one.

- Besides making savings in the City budget, the move enabled the project implementation to finally start. The future bridge and construction of a road from Primorska Street to the highway are expected to be finished at the same time next year, which represents the final completion of Phase IV of the Boulevard of Europe - Vladimir Stojković said and urged the company “Corridors of Serbia” to follow the planned schedule of work and complete their work on the road junction in order to achieve uninterrupted connection of the Boulevard of Europe to the highway.

The planned bridge will be 176 meters long, and twice by 13.70 meters wide. The project includes traffic lane with two carriageways with two traffic lanes, two-sided walkways 3 meters wide, bicycle paths 2 meters wide on both sides of the carriageway, as well as new public lighting.

General Manager of the Public Enterprise for City Construction and Development, Mr. Goran Višnjić, informed the media representatives with certain provisions of the Contract, in particular noting that the advance payment to the contractor has not been envisaged, who in addition to this, must pay a bank guarantee in an amount of up to 10% and not 5%,  as it was anticipated in the Contract from 2011, which was concluded by the previous management of the Public Enterprise for City Construction and Development with Dušan Borovica Company.

Finally, he pointed out that the tender was fully implemented on the basis of same projects and quantities of work, and that there were savings of close to 358 million RSD, while he also announced the completion of the complete Phase IV of the Boulevard of Europe in May next year and the very start of the bridge construction in about 20 days.
