- Inspired by good cooperation with the University of Novi Sad, we got the idea to apply the professional student practice program in companies that are members of the city's Economic Council, on top of the measures that we have been implementing in the framework of the Employment Action Plan. In the first two years we started the implementation of the measure to provide students in the final years of their studies with the opportunity to gain experience in city's public and public utility companies, while last year we added practices in the city administrations, organizations and institutions founded by the City of Novi Sad. I have to emphasize that little time has passed from the idea to today's conclusion of this agreement and I am glad that representatives of Novi Sad's companies showed up and demonstrated a high level of social responsibility, and I hope that other members of the Economic Council will follow that example. This agreement benefits everyone: students will get their first work experience, while companies will have the opportunity to give support to young people with new and fresh ideas – said Mr. Sečujski.

The main objective of cooperation between the University and these companies in the implementation of this program is to give many students who are in the final stage of their studies at the University of Novi Sad an opportunity to gain practical knowledge, skills and necessary experience for work in the domain of their studies, as well as to enable them to practically apply in real work environment the theoretical knowledge they have acquired.
