NOVI SAD - A CITY WITH A FAVOURABLE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

The City of Novi Sad received an official Certificate of compliance with the criteria of the certification program of cities/municipalities with a favourable business environment in the Southeast Europe (BFC SEE).

The NALED certification program is a process that promotes the standards of efficient and transparent local administration and enables the assessment of the quality of services and information that municipalities provide to investors and businessmen. By obtaining a certificate of favourable business climate, cities and municipalities are classified in a selected group of local communities in Serbia that are essentially and long-term committed to economic development and that have managed to create conditions for business development and investment.

Based on the decision of the Regional Council of November 24th, 2020, the BFC SEE Accreditation Body confirmed that the City of Novi Sad meets the criteria of the Certification Program for Cities and Municipalities with Favourable Business Environment in Southeast Europe in accordance with BFC SEE Edition III with 92.67 of the maximum 100 percentage points.

By the decision of the Regional Council, the local self-government acquires the right to use the name "Business Friendly Municipality" and the right to use and display the trademark of the Certification in accordance with the book of standards in the next three years.
