- The City of Novi Sad has put continuous and dedicated effort to become a favorable business environment and attract investments which would contribute to better economic situation and solving of the unemployment problem. We are constantly striving to improve the investment offer, by enhancing incentives for investors both on local and state level. We have the national Business-Friendly Environment certificate, while currently we are in the process of obtaining a regional certificate. Aware of the influence of new challenges that our economy is facing, that affect our current economy and the level of new investments, in the city such as Novi Sad, with almost 40,000 citizens and over 22,000 economic entities, we consider it especially important to be aware that strategic partnerships provide support for and drive all world economies – prof.

Marijana Dukić Mijatović PhD pointed out, expressing her content with the fact that cooperation with entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates is being enhanced.

Numerous discussion topics from various branches of the economy were discussed at the meeting, while company representatives exchanged ideas and experiences. Alongside the businessmen, there were representatives of the Novi Sad Regional Chamber of Commerce who talked with the representatives of chambers of the Emirate of Ajman and Emirate of Sharjah about the cooperation with local administrations for the purpose of providing logistical support to entrepreneurs.
