Aleksandar Petrović wished them a warm welcome and expressed the readiness of Novi Sad to support the establishment of closer cooperation between the two cities.

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Porto thanked for the reception saying that he wants to support the presentation of all the potentials of Serbia in Portugal, while João Rodrigues explained that “The Montalva Group'' in the process of internationalization of its business, adding that they are very interested to investigate the Serbian market.

Presenting Novi Sad, Mr. Sečujski pointed out that it is one of the most economically developed regions in Serbia, characterized by accelerated development of the IT sector and tourism. The officials have agreed that cooperation between Portuguese and Serbian entrepreneurs would be mutually beneficial.

In relation to this, they also discussed methods of increasing the level of cooperation between the cities of Porto and Novi Sad, which would create a platform for connections in the vital areas of social life, above all else in the fields of business and economy.
