The mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević received the representatives of the Embassy of Italy and the Italian businessmen led by the Vice President for Europe of the Department of Energy and market strategies of ANIE associations - the Federation of Italian companies in the field of electrical engineering Giuliano Monica; the Head of the Department of Economics and Adviser for Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Italy Paolo Toschi, and a Director of CONFINDUSTRIA SERBIA Irena Brajović. The mayor Miloš Vučević expressed a great satisfaction that over 40 businessmen from Italy visited the City Hall and the City of Novi Sad and wished them a warm welcome.
They discussed the possibilities of launching economic cooperation and exchange between Serbian entrepreneurs and those from Novi Sad with the entrepreneurs and companies from Italy. The mayor Miloš Vučević also presented the potentials of Novi Sad as an enabling business environment, administrative and university center, with its rich cultural and artistic heritage, with the aim of cooperation with potential investors.
During the discussion, it was concluded that there are good conditions for the establishment of business relationships, and that the representatives of the local self-government of Novi Sad and the Embassy of Italy will provide a full logistical support for the development of economic relations, on the mutual satisfaction.
Moreover, the reception was attended by the Member of the City Council in charge for the economy Goran Sečujski, the Head of the Local Economic Development Office Olivera Simović and the Head of the Mayor’s Office Aleksandar Petrović.
