Among numerous activities that the Office implemented successfully, we can emphasize more than 20 approved projects, in the total value of over €5,000,000, mostly financed by the EU, but also from other development programs. Moreover, on the initiative of the Office, additional incentives for investors have been adopted, by amendments to the Regulation on terms and conditions under which a local self-government may alienate or lease a construction land at a price lower than the market price, i.e. the price of lease, or without compensation ("Official Journal of the Republic of Serbia", No. 13/2010, 54/2011, 21/2012 and 121/2012), which put the City of Novi Sad in an equal position with other investment destinations in Serbia.

In the coming period, the Local Economic Development Office will strive to make exceptional contribution to the development of regional economy and to the vision of the city, successful and efficient administrative center which encourages and supports the development of modern economy.
