The Mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, met today in the City Hall with the delegation of the Japanese company "Nidec", led by the director Yun Seki. It is a leading company in the field of automobile industry, whose arrival was recently announced by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić.

Mayor Vučević estimated that the presence of such a giant in Novi Sad would greatly contribute to the economic strengthening of the City and to a significant increase in employment. As it was said at the meeting, Novi Sad is one of the European cities that "Nidec" took into consideration for the realization of its investment. Mayor Vučević and his associates presented the potentials of Novi Sad and all the advantages when it comes to the business climate. He emphasized that the City Administration has largely proven how serious a partner it is to interested investors, and that in this case, too, it would provide all possible logistics for the realization of a large investment that would be very important for both Novi Sad and Serbia.

- Together with the Provincial and Republic Administration, we are ready to support such an economic endeavor, because, apart from the immediate financial benefit for the state and the employment rate, the arrival of the company of such reputation is an exceptional advertisement for our country. Today's visit encourages us, we are grateful to the President and the Government for their help, and we will continue to work dedicatedly to attract investments, because our goal is for our citizens to have a place to work, to provide a better standard and to keep them here, to live with their families in Serbia - Mayor Miloš Vučević said.

After the meeting in the City Hall, the representatives of Novi Sad took the guests on a tour of the Work Zone "North 4".
