The Mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, received the Ambassador of Italy to Serbia, H.E. Carlo Lo Cascio. He is visiting the City to see again the exhibition of a masterpiece of Roman sculpture called "Roma Aeterna" in the Collection of Foreign Art of the City Museum, which is open to visitors until tomorrow.
During the talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with the encouraging data regarding the epidemiological situation in both countries. They agreed that hard work and commitment of all state institutions are necessary in order to improve the situation in economic terms, but also to normalize the social activities.
The Ambassador emphasized that the challenges in terms of repairing the consequences of the pandemic were great and expressed gratitude that Serbia donated medical equipment to Italy and that it proved itself many times as a partner country and a loyal friend.
The Mayor thanked for the support that Italy continuously provides to Serbia on its path to the European Union and pointed out that he hoped that cooperation in all fields would continue in full capacity very soon, after the pandemic that hit the whole world.
