- The battle for every job is crucial and I am very pleased that the Conquest group, which operates successfully in neighbouring countries, has opened an operation in our city for manufacturing, sales and servicing of public utility equipment. The city will provide logistic support to any potential investor that is ready to do business in Novi Sad. I am also very pleased to see that after several unsuccessful attempts, some earnest manufacturing work has finally been launched in the Free customs zone hall – Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević said, wishing successful operation to the Conquest group.
General manager at Conquest SRB doo, Bojan Cimbal, outlined that today the first stage of this group’s investment has started.
- I would like to point out a great effort of the Mayor and the City of Novi Sad in order to attract foreign partners and new investments. Following a research of this market, our group believes that the amortisation of machines used by some public utility companies is a great problem, and we believe that our machines can contribute to a significant boost to those companies' budgets. Conquest SRB will hire 30 people by the end of December, said Cimbal, who expects the figure to be much higher next year.

The second investment stage implies assembling machines with Serbian components starting December this year and the group aims at long-term business with gradual growth.
