The Minaqua company plans to build an aqua park in Novi Sad which will spread on 9 hectares. The estimated value of the investment is EUR 15 million, and all the money will be secured from their own funds, the company says for eKapija.

– Minaqua Aqua Park is to be built at the entrance to Novi Sad from the highway, near the turning toward Zrenjanin, roughly across from the chocolate factory. The entire perimeter will dominate the entrance to Novi Sad and be visible from the highway – Minaqua says.

When the works are to begin depends on the next steps that are necessary for the project to be realized, and the company hopes that it will take place at the beginning of next year.

– We are planning a large number of various water segments, but also park segments, for children aged 2 to 15, which will dominate the first phase of the construction of the aqua park – they point out.

The entire conception of Minaqua Aqua Park is designed to be ecologically friendly and entails heating from geothermal sources, solar-based power supply and the planting of 1,000 trees. A parking lot with a capacity of 1,000 vehicles will be covered in solar panels.

– Considering that the plan is for the construction to be carried out in phases, it is not important whether the works take two or 10 years, because, with the completion of each of the phases, the features will open to visitors and members of the Minaqua Aqua Park club – they say.
