A turbo chargers factory will start working in September this year at a hall which was built in eight months at the Industrial Zone North 4 in Novi Sad.
– This factory of 25,000 m2 was built in eight months – said the mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, who today visited the BMTS Technology factory, whose partner is CTP.
This factory now employs 74 workers, and the plan is to employ a total of 500 people.
– In addition to the production, a research center will open here, where 50 engineers will be employed. This factory, built on the land that CTP had bought at the full price and where the biggest producer of turbo systems in all of Europe then arrived, is an important investment not just for Novi Sad and Vojvodina, but for the entire Serbia – Vučević stated.
He said that he hoped that new factories would also be built on the land across from the BMTS Technology, of 25 hectares, not too long after.
The director of BMTS Technology, Gunter Semeja, said that Novi Sad had been picked after a long period of exploring other countries.
– Due to the potential, the excellent infrastructure and the support of the state and the City of Novi Sad, we have chosen Novi Sad, and we have also found a great partner in CTP Invest – Semeja said and announced the expansion of the capacities, as part of the future business strategy.
The director of CTP Invest for Serbia, Vlatko Djuricek, said that the factory in Novi Sad has 12,500 m2, where 10,000 m2 will feature the facilities, whereas the remaining 2,500 m2 is reserved for the offices.
