The Mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, received today in the City Hall the Ambassador of the State of Libya, H. E. Mohammed Galbun who is on his first official visit to the City.

Mayor Vučević welcomed His Excellency to Novi Sad and wished him a successful work during his term. The interlocutors agreed that Serbia and Libya nurture good and friendly relations, and that there are opportunities for developing cooperation. In this regard, the importance of connecting the Chambers of Commerce of the two countries was emphasized, as well as the presentation of economic potentials at fair events.

The Ambassador thanked for the hospitality, emphasizing that in his work he will strive to deepen friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the fact that the Embassy of the State of Libya is open for cooperation in various fields, with emphasis on agriculture and higher education.
