The Mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, H. E. Raúl Bartolomé Molina met at City Hall. Vučević wished him a warm welcome and expressed satisfaction that Spanish companies are presenting themselves at this year's Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
Ambassador Molina and Mayor Vučević agreed that it is very good that this important event is being held despite the complex epidemiological situation, noting that without a strong economy, society cannot adequately respond to numerous challenges.
Vučević said that the experiences of Spain, as a superpower in agriculture, will mean a lot to local companies in that area, emphasizing that Novi Sad strives to encourage agricultural producers, especially in organic production.
Ambassador Molina congratulated Novi Sad on the title of European Capital of Culture, emphasizing that Serbia will get closer to the European Union through that project, and that activities on the European path are essential for the further development of the entire region.
Mayor Vučević thanked for the support of the Kingdom of Spain when it comes to European integration, as well as for the principled position when it comes to the territorial integrity of Serbia.
