Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco H.E. Mohamad Amin Belhaj. Considering that next year, marking 65 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, will also be Morocco year in Serbia and Serbia year in Morocco, thus it has been estimated that it will be an opportunity to intensify cooperation in all important fields.

The officials discussed the modalities of developing relations at the level of local self-communities, emphasizing that the European Capital of Culture project is also an excellent opportunity for joint activities to be realized in the best way.

Economy, tourism and culture are becoming more and more closely connected areas from whose synergy the best results are obtained - Vučević and Belhaj concluded and pointed out that from their positions they will maximally support all the upcoming joint ventures.

Relations between Serbia and Morocco are at a historical maximum, which will only contribute to their further strengthening, through strengthening cooperation in the common interest, with mutual respect and appreciation - the Mayor and the Ambassador agreed.
