Project of the City of Novi Sad “Joint Creation of Conditions for Development of SMEs in the Cross-Border Region”, where the City is the lead beneficiary partnered with Kistelek Környéki Települések Többcélú Társulása from Kistelek, was approved in the framework of the Hungary–Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program. General objective of the project is to increase competitiveness of SMEs in the region, by providing possibilities for joint economic growth. The project will contribute to the synergy and cooperation in the cross-border economic region, by ensuring better physical conditions and transfer of knowledge. The key project activity is the development of the main project for the SME Center (sectors of industry, crafts and services) – according to the Detailed Regulation Plan in the existing Work Zone “Rimski šančevi“, a multifunctional hall of 5000 m². Project implementation start date is January 15^th, 2013, while the planned end date is November 14^th, 2013. Total project budget is €114,196, €65,136 of which refer to the City of Novi Sad.
