In the framework of the new Novi Sad Employment Action Plan for the year 2013, there are subsidies for creating new job opportunities in order to increase employment on the City territory. This measure represents de minimis state aid provided for business owners hiring unemployed persons registered in the Novi Sad branch of the National Employment Agency. Subsidies for new job opportunities are awarded to business owners in the lump sum of 200,000.00 RSD per employee.

On June 12^th, 2013, the City of Novi Sad issued an open call for business owners regarding an award of subsidy for the creation of new job opportunities on the territory of the City of Novi Sad in 2013. Business entities that have the right to apply for the subsidy are those seated on the City territory, that hire unemployed people registered in the Novi Sad branch of the National Employment Agency for the newly-created jobs, that submit a request with a business plan, that had not reduced the number of employees in the last three months preceding the month in which the request was submitted, that regularly pay the mandatory social insurance for employees and that fulfill other conditions in accordance with the open call.
